Making Ballet Possible for South Texas Children
South Texas Ballet Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering young ballet students in the South Texas region. Our mission is to make ballet accessible to all, regardless of socio-economic status, by providing scholarships to talented and hardworking students
Our Impact
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have been able to provide over $40,000 in scholarships to ballet students in the past year alone. These scholarships have helped to cover the costs of tuition, dancewear, and other related expenses, allowing students to focus on their craft and achieve their dreams.
The Ballet Students
Our scholarship recipients come from all walks of life, but they all share a passion for ballet and a dedication to excellence. Many of our recipients go on to pursue ballet competitions, out of state summer intensives or professional programs in ballet. We are proud to have played a role in their success.
The Events & Productions
The South Texas Ballet Foundation joins forces with ballet schools and studios to produce events.Together, the foundation produces two ballet productions per year, as well as multiple events to promote the art of ballet.
These productions and events are not only a celebration of the beauty and artistry of ballet, but also an opportunity to provide performance opportunities for young dancers and to showcase their talent to the community.
By producing high-quality ballet productions, the South Texas Ballet Foundation helps to cultivate a love for ballet and the arts in South Texas.
In addition to the productions, the South Texas Ballet Foundation organize various events throughout the year, such as master classes, workshops, and performances by guest artists.
Through these collaborations, we are working towards our shared goal of making ballet accessible to all and expanding the art form in South Texas. We are committed to providing opportunities for young dancers to develop their skills and pursue their dreams, while also enriching the community through the beauty and artistry of ballet.
